President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih travels to Noonu Atoll for his campaign ahead of the MDP Primary while Speaker of the Parliament Mohamed Nasheed arrived in Faafu Atoll for his own campaign.

The Primary is scheduled for the end of this month and both candidates have been busy taking their campaigning to the Atolls.

Yesterday, President Solih traveled to Raa Atoll Maakurath, Innamaadhoo, and Meedhoo for his campaigning while Speaker Nasheed traveled to Bodu thiladhunnmathi last December. Nasheed also traveled to Fuvahmulah City and several islands of Alifu Dhaalu Atoll.

President Solih today touched down in Noonu Atoll Kendhikulhadhoo and he is scheduled to travel to the islands of Manadhoo and Velidhoo.

Meanwhile, Speaker Nasheed is traveling to the islands of Faafu Atoll and Dhaalu Atoll today.

Looking ahead at the Speaker's campaign trail, he would be in Raa and Baa Atoll between the 9th and 11th of this month while Nasheed plans to travel to the atolls of Meemu, Vaavu, Thaa, and Faafu between the 13th and 15th of this month.

Nasheed would be in Lhaviyani Atoll and Kaafu Atoll on the 17th of this month and would travel to Gaafu Alifu and Gaafu Dhaalu Atolls between the 19th and 21st of this month.

His campaign team said that the Speaker would be in Addu City from the 23rd to the 24th of January ahead of the Primary scheduled to take place on the 28th of this month.
