The President's Office has announced that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will meet with members of the media at a press conference today.
It said that the press conference would be held at the President's Office today evening at 04:30.
The President is expected to make statements regarding the government's achievements for this year and goals for next year.
This would President Solih's second press conference this year. He had last met with the media back in June.
During the first two years of his tenure, the President met with the media regularly. But when the pandemic hit back in 2020, his appearances in front of the media were limited and few.
Though the President's has not been available for media appearances, both spokespersons he appointed after taking office made regular media appearances.
Former Spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook as well as current Presidential Spokesperson Mohamed Miuvaan meet with the media regularly.
