The Special Awards Committee at the President’s Office says the Special Medal for Memorising the Holy Quran and the President’s Award for Special Achievement would be presented this year at the official function to mark Republic Day.

The function to commemorate Republic Day will be held on November 10, 2022, at 8:30 p.m. in Dharubaaruge. Maldivian Republic Day is celebrated on 11th November and this year it falls on a Friday.

The committee also announced that the National Award for Public Service would be presented at a function held in December 2022.
