President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih says the nation owes much to teachers' hard work to educate the children of the country.

In his tweet on the occasion of Teacher's day celebrated today, President Solih said that the positive impression that teachers leave on us is permanent.

He further said that the nation owes so much to their selfless hard work- to educate its children, to guide and prepare them for life.

The President went on to convey gratitude and deep appreciation to teachers across the Maldives.

Meanwhile, Vice President Faisal Naseem said that teachers play a vital role in inculcating good values and wisdom in our children's lives.

In his tweet on this day, the Vice President thanked thank all the hardworking teachers whose dedication, wisdom, and kindness have led our children on the right path & have inspired them to be better human beings.
