Police have arrested a man who had broken into Public Service Media PSM's Addu Center and stole from the center.
PSM said that its Addu Center was burgled last Friday and that the suspect of the crime was caught on CCTV camera.
It also said that several laptops, one printer, one TV, and a brand new AC that was still to be installed were stolen from the Center.
Police said that the burglary was reported on Saturday and that the Hithadhoo Police station had launched an investigation into the incident.
They further said that a suspect was arrested today and that the suspect was a 32-year-old man.
Theft and burglary have become common in Addu City with such crimes even being committed in broad daylight.
Police have warned the public to be more aware of such crimes in the Southern City.
