A man has been injured after suffering a 20 ft fall in Gaafu Alifu Kooddoo.
The man had fallen while working in the Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company MIFCO fish factory on the island.
Speaking to 'The Press', a media official at MIFCO said that the man had fallen while doing roofing work in the factory and that the victim was a foreigner.
The official also said that the foreigner had injured his head after suffering the 20 ft fall.
The official further said that the man was under treatment at the Gaafu Alifu Atoll hospital but was being readied to be transferred to Male' for further treatment.
Sources have said that the man who was injured today was from India.
