Police say a man who had been missing since earlier this month was last seen getting into a white car near the Hiya Flat area in Phase II of Hulhumale.
Police had said before that Azuhan was reported missing from Phase II and that his missing persons' report was filed on the 19th of last month.
Giving the latest update on the case, Azuhan said the investigation into his disappearance shows that the 27-year-old was last seen in the early hours of the 18th and that he was last seen near Hiya Tower 13 in Phase II.
Police said that upon looking at the CCTV footage from the area, he was last seen getting into a white car and that it was around 04:53 in the morning.
They further said Police were looking to identify the car by going through more CCTV footage.
Police had shared a picture of the car in question which looked like a white taxi though the image was blurry.
They urged the public to contact the police if they had seen the white car in question near the Hiya flat area or if a taxi driver with a white car had picked up a passenger near the hiya flat area in the early hours of the 18 to contact the Police. Police said that they can either call the Police investigation number for Phase II 9393351 or the Police hotline 3322111.
Police shared earlier that Azuhan was last seen wearing a peach-colored shirt with flower patterns.
