President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has today appointed Aishath Shaan Shakir as the new Maldivian ambassador to Germany.
She had previously served as the Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
President had also filled the vacant Chief of Protocol post at the Foreign Ministry with Ahmed Shiaan being appointed to the post.
Shiaan last served as the Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Both the new appointees were accredited today.
The accreditation ceremony took place at the President’s Office this morning.
