President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed on Monday met with the Maldivian Hajj Pilgrims in the tents in Mina, Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, the President and First Lady inquired about the well-being of the Pilgrims.

A total of 453 Maldivian Pilgrims traveled to Mecca, Saudi Arabia to perform this year’s Hajj Pilgrimage.

The Maldivian Hajj Mission has assured that all the pilgrims from the Maldives have been doing well as they complete the numerous stages of the pilgrimage.

A million Muslims from across the world gathered in Saudi Arabia this year to perform Hajj rituals as it is the first time the Kingdom had opened its borders for Hajj pilgrims since the 2020 COVID pandemic hit the world.
