The Maldivian Hajj Mission in Saudi Arabia has confirmed that all the Maldivian pilgrims have reached the tent city of Mina today.

The Mission mentioned that all the pilgrims are doing well. It shared pictures of the Maldivian pilgrims arriving in Mina and of them settled in their designated tents.

The Maldivian pilgrims had left their hotels in Makkah earlier today with several buses carrying them to the tent city.

Mina lies roughly eight kilometers away from Makkah.

The pilgrims will now spend the night at Mina before embarking on their journey to the plains of Arafah after praying fajr prayers in the tent city.

A total of 453 Maldivians have traveled to Makkah for the annual pilgrimage and Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali led them after he was appointed Amr Al-Hajj by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih earlier this year.

Also, President Solih is in Saudi Arabia along with his wife First Lady Fazna Ahmed for their hajj pilgrimage.
