The Finance Ministry has opened bids to build hospitals on 7 islands.
The Ministry said that the bids are for 30-bed hospitals in 7 islands and that the islands include Haa Dhaalu Hanimaadhoo, Noonu Velidhoo, Alifu Dhaalu Maamgili, Thaa Vilufushi, Shaviyani Milandhoo, Kaafu Thulusdhoo, and Vaavu Felidhoo.
It said that interested parties must pay USD 35,000 as bid security and that the parties must submit their bids before June 9th of this year.
The Ministry also said that bidders must pay a non-refundable registration fee of MVR 1,500 and that they can make the payments every working day between 09:30 am and 01:00 pm in Ramdan and between 08:30 am and 02:00 pm on normal days.
It urged bidders to make the payments online via the Ministry's Bandeyri portal.
The Ministry added that the bid opening ceremony would be held on 9th June at 01:00 pm.
The Finance Ministry had said before that this year it would open for bid hospital construction projects in 25 islands.
