Immigration Authorities in the Maldives have issued the notice to appear for 45 foreigners for immigration-related offenses.
In the notice, Immigration said that the 45 foreigners are immigration offenders and that they are required to attend the Expatriate Monitoring and Repatriation Division of Maldives Immigration.
It also said that the foreigners are required to appear at the Division at M. Orchid Building within 7 days.
The list of 45 foreigners includes 34 Bangladeshis, 2 Indian nations, as well as two Nigerians.
Foreigners from the Philippines, Thailand, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, and Italy are also included in the list.
A media official from Immigration said that they are searching for 45 foreigners in connection to the immigration-related cases they are currently investigating.
Immigration had previously issued notice to appear for foreigners who have committed offenses in the Maldives but this is the first time it had issued the notice for so many individuals at once.
