The Economic Ministry has announced serving hours for both cafe'/restuarants and shops during the upcoming Holy month of Ramadan.
The Ministry said cafes, restaurants, and other eating establishments would be allowed to open at 05:30 pm in the evening and would be allowed to serve till 03:00 am in the morning during Ramadan.
It also said that these timings would be applicable during the first 7 days of the month of Shawwal.
As for shops, the Ministry said that they can operate from 05:30 am till 01:00 am in the morning.
It also said that the timing change for shops would come into effect on the 20th of this month and that it would be applicable till throughout Ramadan and till the 7th day of Shawwal.
Most shops in the country welcome customers till 11:00 pm every day while eateries stay open till 01:00 am after midnight.
