The villimale member of the Women's Development Committee of Male' City Council Aminath Eaman has succumbed to her injuries following her road accident in Hulhumale' yesterday.
It has been reported that Eaman had been rushed to the hospital after she had fallen off her motorcycle upon riding on a road bumper.
Police had confirmed that a woman driver had fallen off her cycle on Kurendhimaa Hingunn of Hulhumale around 4:25 pm on Sunday and that the victim had been taken to the hulhumale' hospital for emergency treatment.
The 29-year-old was later shifted to ADK hospital and passed away while under treatment at the hospital.
Speaking to "The Press" ADK Managing Director Ahmed Affal confirmed that she had passed away at 07:42 am today morning.
She died while she was on ventilator support.
WDC Member Eaman leaves behind her husband and two children and many loved ones who all describe her as a friendly and kind person.
