President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have concluded their unofficial visit to Singapore.
The President's Office confirmed that the First Couple had returned home to the Maldives this afternoon.
The pair had departed to Singapore on the 10th of this month and this trip was the couple's second unofficial trip abroad in three months.
The First Couple had visited Sri Lanka last December on an unofficial trip and returned to the Maldives on 2nd January 2022.
Meanwhile, Presidential Spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook Azeez had yesterday confirmed that the President is set to make travel to Lhaviyani Atoll this weekend.
Mabrook had said via Twitter that on his trip from the 18th to 20th February, the President is set to visit 6 islands from the Atoll including Madivaru, Hinnavaru, Felivaru, Naifaru, Olhuvelifushi, and Kurendhoo.
