Bank of Maldives has opened applications for proposals under its Community Fund for the first phase of the year.

It said that the Community Fund is open for individuals and registered NGOs to access funds up to MVR 50,000 to implement local projects in the areas of education, environment, sports, and community development.

The Bank said that similar to previous years, a total of 20 projects will be funded during this year.

BML said that applicants can send proposals with supporting documents to [email protected] before 11:59 pm on 27th February 2022.

The Community Fund is a program to empower individuals and NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects.

As of today, the Bank has provided financial assistance for 60 projects across the country through this Fund.
