Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid has departed on an Official Visit to the State of Kuwait today.
The Ministry said that during the visit, Minister Shahid will meet with his counterpart, Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and other senior officials of Kuwait, and discuss ongoing development cooperation projects, as well as relevant bilateral and multilateral issues and priorities.
Minister Shahid is accompanied by a top-level contingent from the Ministry.
This trip comes right after the Minister concluded his one-day trip to India where he met the country's Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar.
The Minister said that the two reviewed ongoing projects and cooperation in the multilateral arena. Minister Shahid added that his Indian counterpart had assured of continued supply of essential commodities.
