Education Ministry says A'level students who had previously registered to sit for the Edexcel A'level/ AS level exams in April/May can now take their exams in Oct/Nov of this year if they want.

In a statement, the Ministry said that such students have to withdraw their exam registrations if they want to sit for Oct/Nov exams and that the Ministry has now made the necessary arrangements.

It also said that those students who withdraw from the exams scheduled for next month can sit for the exams under the same school at a later date.

The Ministry added that students can only withdraw from exams for IAL subjects alone.

It said that those students who wished to withdraw from the April/May exams but notify the department of public examination via their schools before 12:00 pm on 30th March.

This comes after the Ministry had earlier today said that the Edexcel A'level/AS level exams scheduled for May/June of this year had been moved forward to April after Edexcel had changed its exam schedule for the year.

Education Ministry had said that it was not notified of the change in the exam schedule and that subsequent discussion between it, the department of Public examination, and Edexcel had not resulted in a positive outcome.
