Education Ministry has announced that this year's A'level exams would be held in May/June in the Maldives.
This comes a month after the Ministry had announced that it would not be holding A'level exams this year but had said that students assessment would continue during this calendar year.
The Ministry had said that the decision was reversed after having discussions with Edexcel about having the A'level exams in May/June.
Meanwhile, the Department of Public Examination has now started to release application forms for normal entries for the exam.
It said that the department would continue accepting these application forms and the exam fees till the 11th of this month.
The department also said that as the deadline for normal entries is near as it is, the Ministry would not be accepting late entries for the exam.
The department said that it would not be extending the deadline for the applications and that if it does extend the deadline it would be difficult to send the exam application details to Edexcel and subsequently to hold the exam.
It also said that the application for normal entry to the exam would be released from the department's counter from 08:30 am to 01:30 pm on all working days and that exam fees would also be accepted at these hours.
