Maldives Transport and Contracting Company MTCC says 50 percent of the project to design and build the harbor of Baa Atoll Fehendhoo has now been completed.
In a tweet, MTCC said that the installation of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction is currently ongoing. It added that 31 percent of this work also been completed now.
MTCC noted that this project was mobilized on the 10th of November 2019.
Earlier this week, MTCC had announced that 67 percent of the project to construct the roads in Haa Dhaalu Hanimaadhoo was completed.
It said that pipe installation work for the project is currently ongoing with 62 percent completion. It also said that the project was mobilized on the 15th of June 2019.
