Maldives Transport and Contracting Company MTCC says it has now completed the Raa Atoll Vandhoo harbor development project.

The Company said that it concluded the project on the 13th of this month.

The project was awarded to the company by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure and the two signed the agreement on the project August of last year.

The Vandhoo Harbor development project is worth MVR 99.5 million.

Under the project, an area of 8701 cubic meters from the Vandhoo lagoon was deepened and a 75-meter seawall was also constructed under the project.

MTCC has played a vital role in the country’s infrastructure development since its inception back in 1980.

Right now the company is undertaking 47 infrastructure development projects across the country and 4 projects in Raa Atoll alone.
