Finance Ministry says the government is seeking a party to construct three schools in Phase II of Hulhumale’.
The Ministry said upon the request of the Education Ministry, it had opened the bid to build three schools in the area and invited eligible parties to submit their bids for the project.
The Ministry said interested parties must pay MVR 850,000 as bid security and said the contract for the project would be awarded as the guidelines set under International Competitive Bidding ICB standards.
It said that each bidder who applies must pay a registration fee of MVR 1500 and said that the ministry would accept the payment via online through its online payment portal between the 15th and 19th of this month.
Finance Ministry also said the bid opening for the project would be on the 20th of this month as 13:00 pm.
This comes after the Education Minister Dr. Aishath Ali had said that as the population of the Hulhumale’ kept growing, more schools were needed in the Male’ Area.
