The President’s Office said it will accept applications from 16 -18 August, from 09:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
It also said Application forms are available from the President's Office reception during official hours.
Yesterday, President Solih dismissed NIC President Ahmed Sulaiman after the parliament voted to remove him from the post on Monday. The vote was passed with the approval from all 58 MPs that participated in yesterday's session.
Sulaiman took over the NIC on the 1st of March 2018. He had also fulfilled the post of Elections Commissioner.
