Ministry of communications says nine state institutions have joined the official government domain gov.mv.
The Ministry said under this work the Islamic Ministry was redesigned to suit the domain. It also said while 9 state institutions have been added to the official portal of the government, officials were working to add three others in the new future.
Minister of Communications, Science, and Technology Mohamed Maleeh Jamaal has said that once all the websites run by the government and state institutions are relocated to the main government domain, then the government’s work rate would be multiplied.
He had said the new websites are designed to be user-friendly and that the government had planned to integrate each website that would enable easy submission of online applications and efficient search engine functions.
