The Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) have resumed their operations in three islands under new normal conditions.

The utility company had temporarily ceased some of their services to the public following total lockdown announced by Maldives government on Greater Male' Region.

However, following government's announcement of easing restrictive measures on Thursday last week the company have resumed all of its services for three local islands.

The islands include Haa Dhaal atoll Kulhudhuffushi, Raa atoll Dhuvaafaru and Kaafu atoll Maafushi.

MWSC confirmed regular services were resumed on Sunday, 31 May 2020. Additionally the company reported the services will remain functional until any further notice advising otherwise.

Moreover the utility company assured they will update Greater Male' Region once they resume regular services to customers.
