Health Ministry’s Dashboard on Covid-19 shows that 15 more individuals have recovered from Covid-19 in the Maldives.

The dashboard showed that 13 out of the 15 were locals and the two others were foreigners.

This takes the total number of recoveries in the Maldives to 144.

Authorities have said that the rate of recoveries in the Maldives has been slow compared to other countries but they have also said that most of the patients who contract the highly contagious virus show mild symptoms of the illness.

Meanwhile, the health Ministry dashboard on Covid-19 showed that 1650 individuals are currently under quarantine and that 1115 individuals are under isolation.

It has been reported that the Health Protection Agency has been quarantining and isolating exposed individuals in their homes in Male’.

This comes as HPA released its guidelines on home quarantine. HPA has also asked the members of the public who want to home quarantine themselves to complete a checklist that’s available online and to email them the checklist.

Authorities have said that the public should ready themselves to home quarantine as the progress of the infection could overwhelm the country’s healthcare system with so many under the state’s care.
