Health authorities on Saturday confirmed 03 more individuals who contracted the Covid-19 disease have made recoveries.
The confirmation was made during the most recent press briefing, noting the total recoveries in Maldives jumping to 112.
While the recovery from the disease has been slowly jumping, Maldives reports only 4 deaths from Covid-19 so far.
On Saturday evening, the total number of positive cases in Maldives have hiked to 1313 with 1198 out of the total being active cases.
Meanwhile Greater Male' Region has been under a total lockdown since 15 April, with the most recent extension on the restrictive measures remaining effective until 28 May.
Government of Maldives earlier announced they will be relaxing restrictive measures on the lockdown post the due of current lockdown duration. Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih confirmed restrictive measures will be slowly lifted based on phases.
