National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) spokesperson has confirmed a special medical card will be issued to expats who are currently undocumented.
According to spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook Azeez, speaking at Sunday evening's press, most of these expatriates are illiterate and they do not possess passport or work-visa identities.
However, he placed importance in providing medical assistance without discrimination and expatriates regardless of documentation were not exempted out. He also bemoaned inability of tracing medical histories of said individuals.
The medical cards will act out as a record of their consultations and medical history.
The said cards will have names, photos and trace numbers of the individuals whom they are issued.
