Health Protection Agency (HPA) has confirmed the total number of positive Covid-19 cases reported in Maldives have risen to 1090.
HPA on Sunday had confirmed 7 new positive cases discovered in Maldives, which included 5 locals along with 1 Bangladeshi and 1 Sri Lankan.
Earlier on Sunday, HPA had reported 4 Bangladesh nationals and 1 Sri Lankan testing positive for the virus.
Meanwhile the island nation reported a total of 59 recoveries from Maldives while there have been only 4 deaths related to the virus.
Greater Male' Region remain in total lockdown which was recently extended until 28th May as the spread continues to intensify.
