WAMCO Managing Director Adam Ahmed says all the random samples taken from WAMCO employees have tested negative for Covid-19.
He confirmed this via a tweet yesterday.
Random samples were taken from WAMCO staff, after an employee from the corporation tested positive for Covid-19 earlier thins month.
The staff that tested positive worked for WAMCO call center.
A number of personnel working in the frontline of the pandemic have tested positive for Covid-19. This includes MNDF officers, Police officers as well as staff from ADK, Maldive Gas, and STO too.
904 people have tested positive for Covid-19 including 304 locals.
While 32 have recovered from the illness 870 still remain under treatment with 13 hospitalized.
3 people have died of Covid-19 in the Maldives.
