Three foreigners from State Trade Organization STO have tested positive for Covid-19.
Sources have confirmed that all three were Bangladeshi nationals and that they worked in the Staple food storage facility of STO.
Sources also said that their test results were confirmed last night. However, HPA had not announced that three foreigners associated with STO had tested positive for the virus.
Maldivians also work in STO’s storage facility with the company known to give equal opportunities to locals and expatriates in its work.
Previously a laborer from STO and a security guard from the company both had tested positive for Covid-19. After the laborer was tested positive, STO closed down several of its outlets and facilities. These places have now re-opened after being disinfected.
