Health Protection Agency HPA says the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country has reached 551.
The latest update on the Health Ministry’s Dashboard on Covid-19 showed that 20 cases of Covid-19 were confirmed yesterday.
This includes 6 locals and 14 Bangladeshi nationals.
With this 282 Bangladeshis have now tested positive for Covid-19 in the country. Also, 52 Indians, 5 Nepalese, 3 Pakistanis, and 3 Sri Lankans have tested positive for Covid-19 in the Maldives.
The Dashboard showed that 191 Maldivians have tested positive for Covid-19 with most cases reported in the Male’ Area.
18 people have recovered from the highly contagious virus in the Maldives with the country recording its first Covid-19 related death last week.
Official data showed that 458 were currently in isolation with 1759 placed under quarantine at various facilities in the country.
