Authorities confirm 04 more positive cases of COVID-19 virus discovered in Maldives.
Earlier, Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih during his public addressing on Monday afternoon confirmed the total number of positive cases in the country have risen to 541.
Prior to President's declaration of the new total, the confirmed total of positive cases attested by health authorities were at 527.
It was reported that 14 individuals had tested positive for the virus on Monday, 04 May.
According to the latest statistics, over 1,500 individuals are in quarantine facilities while over 450 are receiving treatment at isolation facilities.
Meanwhile, President Solih expected the community spread to peak within the following two-week period.
