Health Protection Agency HPA has placed five islands in Shaviyani Atoll under monitoring following a positive case from Narudhoo of the same atoll.
HPA’s latest list of places under monitoring contain the following islands from Shaviyani Atoll;
- Narudhoo
- Funadhoo
- Milandhoo
- Feevah
- Maungudhoo
The Notice sent to Feevah Council by HPA stated that the island is effectively under a lockdown with entry and exit banned for the island until instructed otherwise.
The notice also said the measures were taken to further investigate matters which would prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
