Bank of Maldives BML says the bank will be open on two days next week to provide essential banking services to its customers amid the lockdown of Male' area.
BML said it would open its doors on 27th and 29th April from 09:30hrs to 12:00hrs.
BML said that the following services would be available;
-International Transfers
-Payroll processing
-Cheque processing for ATM Cheque
-Local bank transfers
BML said its branches and service centers remain closed and that it encouraged its customers to bank from home during the lockdown period enforced by the government.
Male’ Area has been under lockdown since 15th of this month after the discovery of its first Covid-19 case. Since that a total of 74 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Male’ alone taking the country’s total to 95.
