Bank of Maldives BML has temporarily increased the daily ATM cash Deposit limit to help its personal and business customers reduce visits to the ATMs.
BML said its personal customers could make daily ATM cash deposits up to MVR 100,000 from MVR 50,00.
The Bank said its business customers could make ATM cash deposits up to MVR 500,000 from MVR 200,000 daily.
BML said that its branches and service centers remain closed during lockdown, but it is continuing to identify measures to navigate the situation better.
Male’ Area are currently under lockdown following its first case of Covid-19 in Male City last Wednesday. Since then a total of 66 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 in Male’ alone.
