Official Spokesperson for Covid-19 Mohamed Mabrouk Azeez says 3 people from Standard Huruvalhi Maldives resort have been placed under quarantine.
Speaking to the press today, Mr. Mabrouk said samples have been taken from one Maldivian and two foreign nationals after they showed symptoms of Covid-19.
Meanwhile a doctor and two nurses from Addu Equatorial Hospital have been placed under isolation after an individual who came back from India earlier in the month visited the Hospital’s ER complaining of Covid-19 like symptoms.
Seventeen people have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Maldives with two Maldivians also tested positive.
