Three resorts under monitoring says HPA.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) says 3 resorts have been placed under monitoring after several individuals from the resorts showed symptoms of Covid-19 global pandemic.

In a series of tweets, HPA announced that samples will taken from two Maldivian nationals from Residence Maldives Dhigurah Resort after they showed symptoms of Covid-19.

HPA said the individuals have been placed under home-isolation and that the resort is currently under monitoring.

HPA also confirmed via tweeter that Taj Exotica Resort has been placed under monitoring and that after samples will be taken from a Maldivian national who developed symptoms of Covid-19.

HPA said the individual has been placed under home-isolation.

In another tweet, HPA said samples would be taken from a Maldivian national and a foreign national, after they showed symptoms of Covid-19. HPA added that the individuals have been placed under home isolation and that the resort was currently under monitoring.

Sixteen people have now been tested positive for Covid-19 in Maldives with fifteen foreigners and one Maldivian tested positive so far.
