Male’ City council has begun work to disinfect Villimale as government tightens its measures against Covid-19.
City Council is collaborating with Maldives National Defense Force, MNDF and fire trucks were utilized for the disinfection. This includes cleaning streets with chlorine water.
While work to disinfect villimale began today, City Council and MNDF are in the process of disinfecting Male’ and Hulhumale’.
As the pandemic Covid-19 wreaks havoc across the globe, the government of Maldives has taken effective and commendable measures to deter a massive outbreak of the highly contagious virus.
This includes closing public parks, Café’s and restaurants while also closing down government offices, schools, universities and colleges.
