President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih announces government would be closed for one more week.
Speaking to the media today, President Solih said government offices would be closed for one more week starting from next Sunday. He said schools; universities and colleges will also remain closed for one more week.
Government had previously delayed opening the school twice amid the on-going Covid-19 crisis.
In addition, tuition classes and extra classes have also been ordered close with authorities taking stern preventive measures to quell spread of the viral outbreak.
