Health Protection Agency HPA is conducting a Covid-19 related full-scale drill in multiple areas of Male today.
In a tweet HPA said it would carryout a full-scale emergency exercise in several areas of the capital from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm today.
HPA said for the purpose of the exercise movement will be restricted in these locations.
It also urged the public to adhere to the instructions given throughout the exercise.
HPA conducted a similar drill earlier this month to check the performance and response times of emergency operations.
Authorities are taking several precautionary measures to fight Covid-19 urging public to maintain social distancing while closing down public parks, café’ and restaurants.
