Mabrouk also said the remaining 15 contacts were Velanaa International Airport personnel and that two of them have been moved to Velidhoo isolation facility for testing. Mabrouk confirmed that both their samples came back negative for Covid-19.
The chinese super league star came to Maldives on the 8th of this month having gone back on the 12th of March. While he tested positive for Covid-19 on the 20th of this month, Mr. Mabrouk said yesterday that it is highly likely that he contracted the virus upon his arrival in China after leaving Maldives. But he also said that contact tracing would be done as part of the preventive measures undertaken by HPA.
