Two doctors have received injuries after they brawled with each other inside the operation theater.
Reports confirm the incident took place at Muli Hospital of Meemu atoll, while Police confirmed the physical altercation took place between two expatriate doctors.
Police futher confirmed the expatriates have been identified as one Indian and one Nepalese national.
The local law enforcement authority received news of the fight between the doctors around 09:45hrs on Thursday morning.
Both doctors received various injuries on their body, most notably on their faces as they were taken off the premises with bleeding from their orifices.
Meanwhile the two doctors, two expatriate males, were transferred to police custody following their altercation.
Photos of the two doctors have since been posted on various social media platforms.
