Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih paid an observational visit to Girifushi to assess activities by National Cadet Corps.
President Solih visited the training camp island as the Supreme Commander of the Cadet Corps.
In his visit, the Maldivian statesman had observed the training activities and programs carried by Cadet Corps instructors.
In addition to this, he had also assessed a few class proceedings of the local cadets at the training-camp island.
The National Cadet Camp commenced on 01 December, and will run until 12 December.
A total of 118 cadets from 32 schools across the island nation had participated at the camp.
In addition to this, under the International Cadet Exchange Progam, 16 cadets from 4 foreign countries and instructors are partaking at the camp activities.
